RocketSales provides a bunch of settings to control how the app works for you. Here is a quick tour.

Controlling Synchronization

Use the Sync Settings screen to re-sync objects or access the per-record type sync settings. Checkout the sync settings article for more info.

Changing which records you download

Depending on the size of your company, you may want to enable the Sync My Records Only setting so that the app only downloads records that you own. Remember that even if you download all records, you can always filter to just see your own by changing your list view to My Records.

Showing Custom Fields

If you have custom fields defined on your records, you can choose to show them on the record detail screens. Just follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings tab
  2. Select Configure Custom Fields
  3. Choose the record type
  4. To display a field, just tap it once. To display a field and make it editable in the record form, tap it twice.
  5. Go back to the main Settings screen. If you have configured new custom fields, you should re-sync your records to download the new data.

Enabling Custom Objects

If you have RocketSales Enterprise edition, then we may have configured custom objects or custom templates on the server. You can enable those customizations with the "Enable Customizations" toggle on Settings. To download the latest customizations just tap "Reload Customizations" from Settings.

Changing Notifications

By default the app will generate iPhone/iPad notifications for Tasks and Events that have a Reminder date/time set. You can disable notifications on the Settings screen.
